JOB PROFILE:

Growing Packaging designer and converter seeking a Packaging Engineer to work cross-functionally providing packaging design support and project management to drive the development of new packaging and implement packaging improvements for existing packaging.

We are looking for a Packaging Guru who has experience and success with the following areas:

Design primary and secondary packaging utilizing the best mix of components and materials for optimal packaging processes
Drive the packaging design and innovation process coordinate with Engineering, Sales and Manufacturing
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide quick turnaround
Experience with protective packaging concepts and materials
Experience with expendable and returnable packaging
Knowledge of packaging testing protocols
Experience providing technical sales support

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree, Packaging Engineering preferred
Experience developing protective packaging for all sizes and types of products
Skills with 3-D CAD design
Experience with corrugated, wood and foam materials
Packaging validation and lab testing experience
Strong project management skills
