A fastener manufacturing company is looking for a NDT inspector with a minimum of a level II certification in MT for immediate hire. This is a new position created by the need of the company to vertically integrate this process into our quality system. This is a full-time position but the company would consider a part-time opportunity depending on scheduling. The position would report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct magnetic particle inspection
- Perform inspections of fasteners and provide results and reports accordingly
- Perform visual inspections to required standards
- Generate inspection reports and enter data into computer system
- Assure management is notified of non-conforming conditions
- Complete special tests or projects as assigned
Ideal Candidates:
- Experience with magnetic particle inspection in the fastener industry
- Have a current ASNT level II MT certification
- Be located within a commutable distance of Canton, Ohio.
