Manufacturing Engineer - Injection

Due to the increase in this companys injection molding business; this privately held Tier I and Tier II supplier is looking for a hands on injection mold manufacturing engineer. You will be responsible for the injection molding process troubleshooting machines and tooling, process improvements, plastic processing, kaizen events and communicating with the hourly staff to maximize production opportunities. Only candidates whom enjoy working on the manufacturing floor up to70% of their time need apply. This is not a desk job! The company believes in internal promotion whenever possible and can offer multiple location advancement. REQUIREMENTS for the manufacturing engineer injection:
1. A 4 year degree in a technical field
2. At least 3 years of experience in a plastics injection manufacturing engineering role MUST HAVE RECENT INJECTION!
3. Must be able to process plastics and troubleshoot tooling
4. Experience working at an automotive supplier, Tier I or Tier II
5. SPC (Statistical Process Control)
6. Must be able to show success in process improvements. Example: scrap reduction, continuous improvement, decreasing down time, etc.
7. Microsoft Office experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Skills preferred but not required:
1. Plastics degree
2. PLC programming
3. Minitab and Microsoft Access
4. Husky and Cincinnati experience

Client would prefer to hire local candidates. This is commutable from Lima, Defiance, Findlay, Van Wert, Ohio or Fort Wayne, Indiana areas. Company is offering a relocation for regional candidates - Michigan, Ohio, Indiana or Kentucky.
