Position Description:
·        Provides technical and project management support and consulting on major cross-departmental projects or initiatives.
·        Determines practicality of major projects, reviews functional suitability, availability of manpower, equipment, and materials, resources and costs. 
·        Directs, consults with, or coordinates multiple efforts and teams.  Reviews and approves project work scope, budget estimates, and manpower requirements.
·        Consults on the coordination of critical multi-sectional projects involving customers, vendors, and consultants.
·        Keeps management informed of project accomplishments and major problem areas as well as budget and schedule status.
·        A leader who indirectly manages others and is responsible for driving the performance the team as a whole by clarifying expectations, understanding capabilities, and motivators, and guiding associate development.
·        Responsible for running complex programs and projects; which includes handling tasks that are involved in designing and development, as well as production.
·        Ensures that all the projects follow the standard procedures that are used in the management and deployment of projects. Undertakes strategy creation for contingency planning and risk mitigation. Coordinates with suppliers and customers on a regular basis. Recommends revisions on the product or component design.
·        Manages the development and implementation of programs and activities for related product systems and platforms.
·        Determines projects resource requirements, schedules, and capital expenditures to develop detailed projects and program plans.
·        Manages cross-functional teams; coordinates all project activities to drive projects from initiation to completion.
·        Coordinates critical, multi-sectional projects involving customers, vendors, and consultants.
·        Performs project risk analysis, identifies risk areas and develops alternate mitigation measures.
·        Keeps management informed of project accomplishments and major problem areas as well as budget and schedule status.
Position Requirements:
  •         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
  •         Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field
  •         Minimum 5 years automotive program management experience
  •         Vehicle OEM experience preferred
  •         Proven interpersonal, facilitation and diplomacy skills
  •         Ability to develop effective working relationships
  •         Strong project and relationship management skills
