SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Production Manager for our client in Fort Wayne, IN. This individual will be responsible for over 65 team members in a manufacturing environment training and monitoring their productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and over 5 years of experience in working in a paper or corrugated manufacturing environment.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee the overall performance, direction and evaluation of the production and operation teams.
  • Oversee warehouse function including but not limited to employee performance, distribution, and scheduling.
  • Develop and review plans and methods to production and operation quality.
  • Plan and manage customer request and project stages to ensure deadlines are met accurately.
  • Maintain and create budget and profit statements as well as loss statements.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, technical degree, or business required.
  • 5+ years of experience working in paper, packaging, or corrugated required.
  • 8+ years of production management experience required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other computer skills required.
  • Well-developed leadership and motivational skills required.
