Our client, a leading building products manufacturer is actively seeking a Product Manager for their code certified fastener product lines. The ideal candidate will market, promote and sell the company’s products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop and implement a complete sales and marketing plan for all channels/categories of business and/or key customers, including: sales and market share projections, profit and growth objectives, return on investment analysis. Oversee the development of point of purchase displays, literature, web presence, trade shows and media.
Work with and provide product training to the company’s sales team and key customers. Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet websites, and other sources.
Provide monthly reports to Upper Management detailing activities, efforts, past performance and future goals.
Supervise QC monitoring for building certified products.
Develop new related products by identifying potential products; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction; developing marketing strategies.
-Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in civil or structural engineering is strongly preferred
-prior experience in the building materials industry with experience with residential building codes desirable.
