Position: Maintenance Manager – Plastic Manufacturing

Your unique role with the company will be as the technical leader for all things related to plant maintenance, electrical engineering, pneumatics, and more. You will be the subject matter expert in optimizing equipment and processes to improve production, eliminate waste, and improve quality while maintaining a safe work environment. You will be expected to lead projects related to capital expansions. We are looking for a leader, someone who can drive standardization, continuous improvement and get results produced through others. You will develop and implement maintenance standards and procedures and train and coach your team to be effective problem solvers on the floor.  

To be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor’s degree (technical degree is a plus) or equivalent field experience
  • Plastics manufacturing or packaging a plus or other high-speed, high-volume manufacturing (Extrusion/Injection/ISBM/IBM/EBM/thermoforming)
  • 5+ years of maintenance management, problem solving, and leadership
  • Strong with machines – electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and get the job done
This position in the great Atlanta, GA area, however much further out so that you do not have to be in usual downtown ATL traffic, but close enough that you can reap the benefits in being in a big city. Atlanta is a true metro hub in the US and continues to be staple for manufacturing.
