Our client is looking for a Field Service Technician with strong electrical troubleshooting, strong computer skills and a customer driven enthusiasm to join their strong team base.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Service and maintain equipment at customer locations.
  • Install equipment which includes start-up and training at customer locations.
  • Use ISO 9000 based work instructions and quality procedures.
  • Ability to write technical service reports.
  • Responsible for Service Vehicle, which includes: maintenance stock, service tools and the service vehicle.
  • Keep accurate timesheet and expense records and submit to Service Manager as required;
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4 years of experience as a Millwright  and/or Electrician or experience with industrial equipment, machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Millwright Certification, Electrician Certification, Industrial Electrician Certification or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge with blueprints, hydraulic schematics and electrical schematics.
  • Proficient electrical circuit troubleshooting ability.
  • Welding and rigging of heavy equipment.
  • Familiar with the use of measuring tools, instrumentation and safe operation of hand tools including multi-meters, grinders, drills, mechanical saws, sanders, buffers etc.
  • Capable to fit and assemble mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
  • Capable to receive job specific training and train new employees.
  • Follow and adhere to company’s quality systems procedures and work instructions.
  • Know, understand and follow safe working and material handling practices.
 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able and willing to travel extensively and carry cell phone as he on- call Service Technician.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license.  
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a Passport.
