Title: CNC Programmer
The CNC Programmer is responsible for the programming of CNC machines. Additionally, this role will ensure that proper process is followed with manufacturing. Job will also include selection/design of special tooling and fixtures. The ability to reverse engineer parts and create engineered drawings is required.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Develop and transfer released programs to all CNC machining.
Create or modify existing programs to implement changes.
Research and identify opportunities to reduce part machining time by modifying programming
Order special tooling for CNC Machinery .

The CNC Programmer must have advanced understanding of operation, programming, and preventative maintenance on applicable machinery. The CNC Programmer must be able to interpret and apply changes proposed by the Engineering team, this requires ability to review engineering drafts and determine if changes recommended will be successful in programming.
Education And/or Experience
CAD experience required
Esprit or similar software.
Experience with programming 5 Axis Geometries.
Ability to reverse engineer parts.
Ability to create Engineered Drawings
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
