Job Description
Very well established organization is looking for a Plant Manager.

Responsibilities are:
- Must have ability to develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures related to plant operations.
- Ensure production equipment/machinery is properly maintained, repaired, or replaced as necessary for smooth daily plant operations.
- Hire, train, and evaluate plant personnel.
- Control allocation and use of personnel to ensure fulfillment of production schedules in a cost-effective manner.
- Conduct safety meetings and training seminars as needed.
- Ability to develop and prepare plant operating expense budgets.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as required.

Requirements are:
- Strong ability to lead and coach personnel.
- Specific knowledge of industrial production processes in an edible or non-edible food processing plant is a must.
- Ability to analyze, forecast, and plan production objectives
- Ability to effectively communicate with corporate office management, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- 7+ years of experience in a food or feed manufacturing environment is a must.***
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
