Job Description
Position requires fully mature Electrical Engineer.  They will perform the most difficult PC board design assignments which requires sufficient professional experience to assure competence as a fully trained engineer. 

Candidates must also have Motor Control Experience.

They will also be responsible for development and implementation of complex programs and solutions. Incumbent will design and analyze very complex parts and control  systems as a member of a design team, and independently. 
 
They will develop control and component test specifications.  Be actively involved in all phases of the design, analysis of design, testing of design, and qualification of the design.
 
Incumbent will participate on project teams, lead project teams, and direct the activities of other team members.
 
They will be involved daily, in creating documents including: flow charts, wiring schematics, electronic schematics, source code, hazard analysis, validation test plans, Bill of Materials, Engineering Change Orders and design records. 
 
Candidates need to have experience with some form of regulatory compliance.  Ideally it would be FDA or UL or C.S.A.

In addition, they will develop and maintain records of the design process to comply with F.D.A. good manufacturing processes, I.S.O. 9001, Underwriters Laboratories Standards, Canadian Standards, IEC-601.  They will be required to coordinate activities with regulatory agencies as they affect the electrical workings of companies products.  Typically U.L. and C.S.A. 
 
Also be expected to be one with initiative to independently recognize, define, and create and implement solutions for a problem.
 
Additional qualifications:

Knowledge of microprocessors and embedded control systems.
Knowledge of "Assembly" or "C" or C++ programming languages.
Practical manufacturing experience - mass production. Not just one or two pcs or just theoretical.  Quantities of 100 or more.  Know way around Mechanical Engineering..
Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. 

6 years work experience minimum as an Electrical Engineer II  
 
PC board design w/embedded software
• Motor control (brushed DC and brushless DC)
• Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
